In the context of promoting apprenticeship cursus in the aerospace domain, the IRT Saint Exupéry, the Campus des Métiers et des Qualifications Aéronautique et Spatial d’Occitanie, the UIMM Occitanie, the Aerospace Valley cluster and the GIFAS have set up this Aerospace Apprenticeship program.
It is a tool for connecting the different actors of the apprenticeship system: applicants, training centers and companies. This platform aims to facilitate research procedures to help companies to find the applicants who respond their needs and help the applicants to find an apprenticeship position.
Supported by more than 20 training institutions, Alternance Aerospace now covers more than 75 apprenticeship cursus, from CAP (Certificat d’Aptitude Professionnelle) diploma to engineering degree, and also including professional and technician qualifications.To fulfill these objectives, Alternance Aerospace:
> operates an online platform to link job offers and applicants, and select best solutions;
> organizes an annual recruitment forum, usually in May.

Around 750 applicants were registered on the platform just before the forum. Almost 160 job offers were proposed by 21 companies. More than 200 applicants came and were able to have an interview during the recruitment forum which took place at aeroscopia museum on 15th May.
