IRT Saint Exupéry awarded at the Surfair Congress!

At the last Surfair Congress in Biarritz in September, IRT Saint Exupéry was honored to see Marie Busquet, a surface treatment researcher at IRT Saint Exupéry, receive the Jury Prize for her outstanding work.

Marie Busquet, a member of the Surface team, works on improving surface treatment processes, which are essential for bringing new functionality or increasing the durability and performance of materials used in the aeronautical industry. Her specialization in high-temperature coatings has enabled her to contribute to the creation of innovative and high-performance solutions.

Thanks to the unique resources of the test center, such as the flame bench, and the expertise of our staff, including Marie, the IRT Saint Exupéry is able to design, manufacture and test high-precision innovations. This mastery of the entire research chain is a major asset.

This success is the result of teamwork. The IRT Saint Exupéry congratulates the Surface team, particularly Julien Garcia (technical reference and project manager) and Brice Nuytens (coating applications), who were of great help in carrying out these projects.

Congratulations again to Marie Busquet for this award. She has now joined the Composites team at IRT Saint Exupéry, where she will continue to contribute her expertise.
