The first apprenticeship recruitment exhibition, dedicated to the aeronautical and space industry in the Occitanie region, took place on May 15th, at the espace Lauragais at Saint-Orens de Gameville.
Over 200 aprenticeship student candidates participated in the event. Supported by their training centers, they were welcomed troughout the day by aeronautics and space companies that are recruiting apprentices for the 2018 back-to-school season.

Candidates that were selected trough the website by companies were requested to attend the exhibition for planned interviews. In view of the overwhelming success of the event, the website will continue to receive applications from candidates for a further few months and sent to prospective companies for review. The Aerospace Apprenticeship program and recruitment exhibition from May 15th is organized by the IRT Saint Exupéry and Campus des métiers et des qualifications Aéronautique et Spatial Occitanie, with the support of Aerospace Valley , UIMM (Union des industries et des métiers de la métallurgie) and GIFAS (Groupement des industriels Français de l’Aéronautique et de Spatial).
